Innovative Alternatives, Inc. (IA) has served the Santa Fe community since the shooting on May 18th, 2018. Thus far, we have served over 18,373 victims, first responders and family members. Last fiscal year, IA served 4,464 clients in our Victim Assistance Program (VAP). Most survivors we serve have suffered more than one crime in their lifetime, for 6,698 violent crimes our 4,464 clients were treated for trauma-related mental health symptoms as a direct result of those nearly 6,700 violent crimes.
