Mediation is a forum in which the mediator facilitates communication between parties to promote reconciliation, settlement or understanding between them. Our mediators guide disputing parties through proven stages of communication that promotes reconciliation, settlement and/or understanding between them.


Professional counseling is a professional relationship that empowers diverse individuals, families, and groups to accomplish mental health, wellness, education, and career goals. Counselors work with clients on strategies to overcome obstacles and personal challenges that they are facing.


The majority of our trainers have Master’s degrees or above—they have not only the education, but also practical experience in the topics they train. At IAI, we are passionate about our services as well as educating our clients in the skills to assist them to live, learn, work and relate to others at optimum levels of functioning.

Ministry Assistance Program (MAP)

Overcoming challenges in life  requires support that can be offered in a variety of ways. Through MAP we offer support through our Counseling, Mediation, and Training programs.

General Counseling Program

Innovative Alternatives’ counselors, respecting the importance of the pastor’s spiritual oversight, will encourage clients to remain accountable to their pastors, to speak to their pastors openly about spiritual and doctrinal issues, and to remain involved in the ministry of the church as a primary healing element in their lives.

This program helps individuals with short or long-term behavioral, emotional or mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, identity issues (often resulting from job loss), sexual struggles/addictions, stress, trauma and adjustment problems. All of these services are built on a Christian perspective to help individuals overcome psychological, emotional, behavioral difficulties affecting spiritual health.


Mediation services and church-based programs give the knowledge, the skills and even seeks to enhance the willingness to deal with difficult issues by creating safety, structures, and systems within which to resolve conflicts peaceably among brothers and sisters in Christ.

There are many  training programs and services available as part of MAP like our exclusive Family Preservation Program.
Family Preservation Program: This program offers a comprehensive Christian approach to marital and family health and healing.  We believe Biblical principles provide broad resources of wisdom, strength and guidance in helping marriages, families and ministries to function in a way that exemplifies Christianity in action.  Through this program, we assist couples and families to repair and build healthy marriages and family relationships, communicate effectively, resolve conflict, and improve parenting skills.
