Biography
Meg is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor who has been part of the Innovative Alternatives, Inc. team since 2018. She takes a collaborative approach to counseling and believes the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful change. For Meg, therapy is a place where clients should feel heard, respected, and comfortable being themselves.
Meg understands that starting therapy can feel intimidating. She works to create a warm, welcoming environment where clients can feel safe, supported, and ready to do the work at their own pace.
She has received formal training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She recently completed Somatic Experiencing (SEI) Practitioner training and working to become certificated in DARe (Dynamic Attachment Repatterning Experience).
When she's not in the office, you might find Meg browsing local antique stores, working in her garden, or spending time with friends and family. And if she's holding a drink, there's a good chance it's a Diet Coke with lime or an iced latte.
